About O.V.L. Events

To answer the obvious question, O.V.L. stands for Open Voice Live. Why did I choose this as a name for the services I offer? These three little words encompass what I do and what I hope to create every time I step on stage, interact with clients, or just have a personal conversation.

Open: frank and communicative

Voice: personal and human, not recorded or generated

Live: in person, active, dynamic

It also saves everyone the headache of having to spell my name correctly in order to find me on the web. O.V.L. Events is a fairly recent creation, but I’ve been in the industry for over 25 years. You can read more about my background below.

Recommendations & Reviews

“I’ve worked with Mignonne for approximately 20 years. She has a kind and controlled manner, direct and efficient – particularly in the last ‘crunch hour’ of set up, when there can be a little chaos. She is al- ways calm, humorous and organized. The event consistently starts on time, and a grand time is had by all!!” – Barbara A., Monterey, CA

“You are a gift! Thank you for sharing yourself and your talent with us!” – Tracy S., Cypress, CA

“Many thanks for a perfectly delightful program… It was so beautifully thought out and prepared, so charmingly performed and so enthusiastically and gratefully received!” – Mary C., Santa Barbara, CA
